Twitter Hailed as the Next Evolutionary Step

The Future of TwitterCelebrities love it and just about anybody else on the planet too, Twitter has become a big name in the social net and the micro-blogging service is being seen as the next model for the coming evolutionary step of the internet. The new form of the internet can have thousands upon thousands of companies with servers and software, forming the cloud, all having programs that allows people to interact, blog and do just about anything they could do today, simply faster. No bog monopolies and no single entity in control (well, that might not be entirely true for Google does have the biggest set of data centers the world over and it is THE search engine), on the net who says this and that with all of us in tow.
Social sites are indeed taking a bit out of the control Google had on the search market in the past few years as people tend to use the net for more intimate and personal reasons. The semantic internet has also played part in the evolution of the internet, making searching more accurate and taking the higher junk rates out of search results. Google has been known to give up a couple of hundred or so thousand search query results with a countable few winners. Smart searching that is personal yet public is the next step for the internet, but that, will come in the next couple of posts.
