Bing – Microsoft’s Yahoo and Google Search Competitor
Not quite, the new search engine may have some of the innovative concept of the cloud behind it, yet as with any other computer software, it’ll take time for the fruit to ripen (and knowing Microsoft, that’ll take a while). Microsoft has long been searching for an answer from the threat Google has been shadowing them with in the area of online advertising, a field totally ruled by the later search giant. They have tried on several occasions (heard they’re at it again) to get hold or control of Yahoo yet they have fallen short of their bullish tactics and failed to get at it fast.
They finally got tired and decided to do something on their own to battle these crazy search giants who want nothing to do with their company and come up with BING! Their revamped version of the MSN Live search that promises to be the best search engine ever made, as said on their ads, “Your search results have already been found”. The company is calling it an utter success, even calling upon statistical data compiled by an internet monitoring site so early. One problem, it’s a mere week old and they say they are already going at par with Yahoo. Call it crazy but most experts agree that it is due to the buzz they have created and people are merely curious at the new thingy they have produced. They have made it known that hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising will be spent to promote it yet they can scantily be found anywhere. Give it some time to bloom or wither guys, then make your statements.
